The 17th edition of the Ahmedabad International Film Festival (AIFF), featuring cinematic films, documentaries, and short films, will be held from October 1 to 4, 2026, in Ahmedabad, India.
Co-directed by Saeed Nabi and Maryam Khadivi Boroujeni, "Standing with the Wolf" tells the true story of Mr. Jalali, a devoted environmental ranger. A loyal guardian of his country's environment, despite still carrying numerous shotgun pellets from hunters' bullets in his body, he has come to the conclusion that he must teach in schools, as education is the most effective weapon for environmental conservation.

"Standing with the Wolf" has previously been screened at the 2nd Smart Cinema Festival in Russia, the 23rd Baikal Film Festival in Russia, and the 31st SUNCINE Spanish Environmental Film Festival. It was also nominated for the "Golden Panda" Award at the 31st Sichuan Television Festival in China, and won the award at the CMS VATAVARAN Asia Environmental Film Festival in 2024 in New Delhi, India.
