The flick is a screen adaptation of Abyar's novel titled 'The Third Eye' that narrates the story of a woman during Iran's Sacred Defense (1980-88 Iraqi-imposed war on Iran).
The movie tells the story of a mother waiting for her son who has been missing in Pre-operation Valfajr during Iran-Iraq war in 1980-88. She looks forward to her son's return for many years until she finally receives his bones brought to her in a coffin instead.
The festival selects films which tell the story of how Europe and Asia — East and West — meet in a manner of cinematic productions.

The film had earlier won Special Jury Award for Best Actress at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival in Australia, as well as the Audience Award for Best Film at annual Reel Sydney Festival of World Cinema.
