DIRECTOR’S VIEW
War is a certain experiment in death and suffering, and I know somewhere in this world, wounded by the wrath of war with people experiencing death in silence. They were called “Scrap-Pickers” and their work was collecting the scrap metals remaining from the wartime. Their painful faces were burnt by the sun, their exhausted bodies by the mines and missiles. In a land ravaged by war, I was searching for the truth, for the unknown pains of human beings.
